
Terry Dugdale
Chief Executive Officer
Terry Dugdale is Chief Executive Officer at Indigo Networks, appointed by our owners and investors in December 2023 to build on the strong business foundations as a true independent asset owner. He leads our highly experienced and knowledgeable team through an exciting phase of managed growth with our existing and future offerings to the market.
Terry will be responsible for implementing the strategic goals of growth and expansion across the Indigo portfolio including Power, Pipelines and Water. He has an unrivalled track record with over 33 years industry experience guiding companies to deliver excellent service for all stakeholders through his customer-focused leadership approach and strategic skillset. He has been instrumental in delivering major growth at industry leading ICPs and IGT/IDNOs through developing a full multi-utility connection offering and is focused to do the same at Indigo Networks. He recognises the highly experienced and knowledgeable people already in place within the business and is confident that as we grow the Indigo brand, we shall continue to deliver real and tangible benefits to our existing and future customers. With the introduction of a wider team, new products and services, through our values, customer relationships, and industry knowledge we will continue to deliver the highest levels of service across the network adoptions process, whilst the operation of safe and reliable networks remains at the forefront of the business.

Terry is an Incorporated Engineer and member of both the Institute of Gas Engineers & Managers and Institute of Directors, adding to his credentials as a key appointment to the Executive Team at Indigo Networks.

Stuart Williams
Operations Director
Stuart Williams joined Indigo Networks in January 2024 as Operations Director. With a predominantly gas background, Stuart has an incredible 42 years of industry experience covering the entire process of the utilities lifecycle. Stuart is a qualified Chartered Engineer and has held crucial positions for high profile businesses including, most recently, in his role as Head of Infrastructure Management at Mobile Broadband Networks Limited, where Stuart led the development, improvement and strategic planning of an infrastructure asset management system for Joint Venture partners EE and 3.
At Indigo Networks, Stuart’s role is to manage our operational assets safely, compliantly, and efficiently, and to ultimately enhance our customer experience, by simplifying processes and making us even easier to work with. Stuart’s experience in utility operations, asset management and sales, with numerous industry credentials, makes him the ideal person to achieve this.

Jo Thompson
Director of HR and Central Services
Joining Indigo Networks in January 2024 into a new role created within the business, Jo Thompson is a fundamental and welcome addition to the Executive Team as Director of HR and Central Services. Jo is responsible for the strategic directorship and operational implementation of all our internal functions including the People team, IT, Facilities, Adoption Management, ESG Planning as well as managing special projects. Jo has accumulated over 12 years’ experience in highly successful people-management roles, including ten years at a multi-utility industry leading company where she implemented a valuable culture change program resulting in the recognition by Best Companies Awards.
Jo possesses vast knowledge of employment law, culture change, organisational design and structure, and has extensive experience in enhancing internal business processes through tactical planning and building strong cross-functional relationships at all levels. Jo has achieved some impressive statistics at other companies including a 30% increase in HR process efficiency and 25% increase in diversity hires through a highly successful inclusion strategy and will be instrumental in the recruitment and retention of our highly experienced and knowledgeable teams.
Jo is very much looking forward to contributing to the evolving business growth at Indigo Networks ensuring we are an employer of choice through the creation of a stable and future-proofed service. She is a welcomed addition to the Executive Team and will be key in ensuring the strong culture and ethos of our people remains as the company realises its growth ambitions.

Megan Goss
Head of Regulation & Compliance
Megan is an economist who has focused on energy and carbon markets since she started her career in the civil service at the then Department of Energy. Megan held several positions in Ofgas including carrying out one of the earliest Competitive Market Reviews and led the regulatory team as the gas market moved to daily balancing. After moving to the private sector to gain commercial experience she has worked for a major consultancy firm and in regulatory, strategy and trading roles for an energy trader, large energy producer and a large steel manufacturer.

Craig Turner
Head of Water Quality and Strategy
Appointed to lead on all matters relating to water safety planning, delivery and supply resilience, Craig joined the business as Head of Water Quality in June 2024 bringing with him experience from large and small water companies. Craig has led national policy projects across a range of drinking water topics, and is a member of the Institute of Water.
As Head of Water Quality and Strategy, Craig will oversee Indigo’s drinking water safety planning and delivery, and forge long-term partnerships with stakeholders on key issues such as water supply resilience. This involves developing water quality policies to fulfil regulatory requirements, making sure we go the extra mile in mitigating water quality risk, developing a highly skilled water quality team, and driving industry best practice across the water quality function. Craig’s understanding of the challenges and opportunities within the water sector and water quality will be instrumental in delivering a high-quality service to our customers and his wealth of experience will prove invaluable as we connect thousands of new water customers to our networks.
Through this new role at Indigo Networks, Craig will combine his depth of experience working with the DWI, water companies, consumer and professional bodies, trade associations, and consultancies. And with Craig’s commitment to water quality and public health, he is a welcome addition to the new water team, enabling Indigo Networks to offer a true multi utility proposition.

Emily Lowther
Business Development Manager
Emily has joined the Indigo Networks Business Development Team to maintain and develop our existing relationships as well as forging and growing new ones with clients such as ICP’s, UIP’s, utility contractors and consultants across Scotland and the South of England. Having worked in the utilities industry for over a decade, both in the IDNO, IGT and ICP world, Emily is extremely experienced across the entire project lifecycle for both LV and HV projects, for transmission and distribution on both a national and international scale and understands the process from capacity and feasibility POC studies through to design, build and energisation.
She brings with her a wealth of knowledge and experience having worked alongside design and construction of gas, water and electricity networks and assets and is ideally placed to help develop the Indigo offering ensuring it meets client expectations and is suited for the project requirements. Emily will also assist the wider Indigo teams by growing the Indigo Networks brand and promoting the fully supported service for the adoption of both gas and electric assets across the utility and new build sectors UK wide.

Jan Grant
Compliance Manager
Jan joined Indigo Networks as Compliance Manager in September 2019, after spending 24 years with SSE fulfilling a similar role. During her time with SSE she worked for SSE Pipelines as Technical Support Officer for the Assets Team and as a Gas Connections Designer. Prior to that Jan was with their New Housing Group as a Connections Designer designing gas and electricity networks, having also held management roles within the metering business, Jan has a broad depth of knowledge within the utility industry to assist the team in growing the Indigo portfolio.
