Bob Smith joined Indigo Networks in April 2025, following many years at SSE managing the MSA for Indigo Networks as the Network Management Manager.

Bob started his career in the gas industry back in 1977 as a very young YTS trainee, Bob as spent most of his working career in the Gas, Water and electric industry, He has many years of experience in management positions within all the utilities sectors including Head of Water at SSE prior to it being moved to another Nav business.

At Indigo Networks, Bob’s role is to Head up our gas network business and manage our Gas assets safely, compliantly, and efficiently, and to comply with Industry standards and regulations, Bob’s experience in utility operations and asset management, with numerous industry credentials, makes him the ideal person to achieve this.

Bob is also a member of AIGEM and MIWater.
